Safety and contact
Safety at Vycari
This page explains how to report a message or a person in Pepper, what blocking does, and how to reach us about abuse and safety.
Report a message or a person
Pepper has Report and Block actions in the apps. They are available on the web and on iOS.
- To report a message, open the menu on another person's message and choose Report. Pick a reason, add a note if you want to, and submit.
- To report a person, open the room's member list and choose Report person on their row.
- The report form has a checkbox to block the person at the same time.
Once you report a message, it is hidden for you.
What happens after a report
Vycari staff review reports. The report keeps a copy of the reported message and of the conversation as you could see it, so staff review what you saw. Reports about child safety are reviewed first.
Blocking
Blocking is one-way. The person you block is not notified. In rooms you share, their messages are collapsed for you, with an option to show them. You can unblock someone from the member list or from your settings.
Abuse and safety contact
To report abuse or a safety concern, or if you cannot use the in-app actions, write to abuse@vycari.ai.
Child-safety standards
Vycari has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and for the sexual exploitation of children. This content is not allowed on Pepper.
- Reports about child safety are prioritized in staff review.
- When we confirm child sexual abuse material, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.
- To raise a child-safety concern, use the in-app Report action or write to abuse@vycari.ai.
